Suzanne began her journey as a Health and Fitness Professional over 19 years ago. She has been active in sports and dance all her life, so these God given talents were professed well on at an early age. Her enthusiasm and sincere passion for overall health and wellness has always been at the forefront of her personality. When she began teaching classes for the USMC as a Group Fitness Instructor back in 1990 it was only a short time afterwards that she became the Sports Coordinator for the entire base, discovering that she had a gift for fitness and helping people feel good about themselves, both inside and out.
Health and Wellness became a way of life when she discovered her purpose in using fitness as a platform to help promote health and wellness to others. As a Personal Fitness Trainer and Lifestyle Coach Suzanne imparts her uniqueness by adopting an inside-out philosophy: fitness for the body, mind and spirit. Suzanne’s methodical and optimistic approach educates clients on how to develop habits that make health and fitness a way of life not just physically, but more importantly, mentally, emotionally and spiritually as well.
Suzanne believes fitness should be fun and achievable for Every-Body and encourages and enriches each client by helping them discover their true potential for change and sense of self worth. By tackling the internal and external battles of the ever changing health and fitness field, Suzanne stresses the importance of meaningful behavioral changes. The integration of being present in the mind, body, and spirit through exercise and proper nutrition provides her clients with the necessary tools to achieve results that last a lifetime. When developing and implementing programs Suzanne combines the most effective training methods to maximize her clients’ workouts. Suzanne emphasizes the dynamic approach of functional fitness which teaches clients to develop proper body awareness. It’s not about how much you can lift, more importantly it’s about how you lift it.

"Fitness isn't about looking good for a year; it's about having inner peace, hope and contentment - promoting growth to live your best life possible. When people are feeling lost and out of control, the true power of fitness radiates through by helping them get their life together. Knowing that helps me realize more and more with each passing day of what God's purpose is for me: to teach, encourage, educate and help provide a healthy way of living to all those who desire a deeper change. We don’t need more information…we need complete transformation" - Suzanne Barrett
